Alcohol Podior 70% is a disinfectant based on denatured ethyl alcohol for disinfecting the skin, instruments and surfaces.

For external use only.
Approval by the Ctgb.
Authorisation number 14061 N (Bitrex denaturation).
Supplier Beautywaves

Instructions for use
Permitted use only as a means to combat bacteria (excluding mycobacteria and bacterial spores), yeasts and fungi:

- on hard surfaces in healthcare, in pedicure practices, in tattoo practices, in beauty salons and in nail studios, with the exception of surfaces that may come into contact with food and drink and raw materials for these.

Ethanol 70% is effective against a wide range of bacteria, and also has a fungicidal and virucidal activity. It is not effective against bacterial spores or fungal spores. The virucidal activity is only partial. Most non-enveloped viruses (e.g. hepatitis A) are at best partially affected. Enveloped viruses (including HIV, hepatitis B and C) can be inactivated efficiently, but higher concentration mixtures are recommended for this purpose, e.g. 80% ethanol + 5% isopropanol. This better effect against enveloped viruses is explained by the presence of fats in the envelope, which makes them more vulnerable to the fat-dissolving capacity of alcohol.

Instructions for use and dosage
The dosage and exposure time as indicated in the instructions for use must be adhered to.
Only apply the product to small surfaces (maximum 0.5 m2). First clean the surfaces to be treated. Rinse any cleaning agent used with clean water. Remove excess water. Apply the product to the surface to be treated with a cloth or cotton wool wad (use 20-50 ml per 0.5 m2) and leave to work for at least 5 minutes. When disinfecting, use enough liquid to ensure that the surfaces remain wet for the entire exposure time. Then rub the surface dry with a cellulose cloth.

Use
The product is intended for professional use only.
